Reality Check
People can be so mean about such insignificant stuff. Today at work Crystal, the only waitress working the shift, got chewed out by this woman who's salad came out late. It wasn't as if Crystal meant it as a personal affront to the woman. She just needed to make another salad (there weren't any pre-prepared as we had been slammed with salad orders of all things!) So, the woman got really angry. And probably didn't leave a tip, and blessed out Crystal, and probably went home mad. A late salad probably ruined her whole evening.
Meanwhile in the Palestine, innocent peoples' evenings are being ruined by military bulldozers knocking their houses over.
I feel like that point could have been made more clearly and more delicately. Oh well. I'm not really in the mood to revise.

There have been, in the history of the Israel-Palestine conflict, 17 incidents of houses being demolished (some of these incidents involved multiple houses, but it has only happened 17 times).
In each of these cases, the owners of the houses in question were shown by triple-sourced intelligence to have harbored or aided terrorists that went on to kill innocent Israeli women and children. These Israeli's families evening's were ruined, too, but I don't see you mentioning that.
The owners of the homes destroyed were not "innocents" by any stretch of anyone's imagination. They gave food, money, housing, and moral support to people who are undeniable murderers. If the destruction of their homes causes other Palestinians to say "Wait a minute, maybe I shouldn't help you kill women and children", then I won't lose a wink of sleep.
I am tired of seeing otherwise-brilliant people taken in by the propaganda of murderers, liars, and monsters. I would urge you to consider the whole issue, not simply what some Liberal leaders say is all that matters. Just because an idea is usually associated with Conservatives doesn't mean its wrong.
Is destroying someone's house a bad thing? Certainly. Is killing women and children just because they are Jews worse? Certainly!
The primary difference in the conflict that many fail to see is a difference in who is targeted. Militant Palestinians specifically target civilians, particularly women and children. The Israeli Defense Force, which has a lower collateral damage rate than any modern military in the world except India, targets only these militant groups. Sometimes Palestinian women and children get caught in the crossfire, but when this happens, you will NEVER see Israelis dancing and cheering about it. You see Palestinians dancing and cheering every single time a Jew is killed.
Please explore all aspects of a situation before making judgements. This is a good rule for everything in life. I have found that approximately 80% of people who here the FACTS associated with the conflict, and not just anti-Jew rhetoric, tend to side with Israel.
